Chapter 6 - Seilah

Tartaros' headquarters, the Cube had crashed int many pieces not too far from Magnolia after the Spirit King destroyed it.

The public generally avoided the place and even the forces if the Magic Council left it alone after a preliminary investigation. There were still remnants of demonic power that kept the general populace away, even though treasure hunters did try their luck there.


Ace spent a few days investigating the many different pieces of the demonic cube island, looking through the wreckage.

Ace walked around the abandoned island headquarters of the dark guild Tartaros. The building was dilapidated, with many walls crumbling and most of the doors were non-existant, only holes.

“I thought when we lost, we kept a low profile and would be left alone. I can’t believe you legal guilds would do this!” said Seilah in outrage.

Absorbing all the most powerful mages probably wouldn’t be enough as well. Perhaps only large scale power like Etherion would be able to reverse time by that much, or maybe a true resurrection spell.

As for the idea of using Ultear’s recharged power, that idea was a total failure.

He used Ultear’s copied [Restore] spell to restore Irene's dead body, and absorbed power from her again to restore Ultear to her prime.

“I’m sorry for putting you through this Ultear. I’ll give this up for a better solution” he said quietly as he healed her body after copying her [Restore] spell and gently carried her naked body to a nearby bed.
